Absolute worst experience when it comes to dropping off a rental, which I have done multiple times. At the time that I reserved the truck I had requested a different location, not this one (at 13900 Inglewood Ave.) but U-Haul called giving me the change of address for the drop-off. First off, don’t bother knocking because no one will be there. Secondly, don’t call because no one will pick up. Thirdly, there is no space to drop off the vehicle so you have to leave it on the busy street. And fourthly, there is NO U-HAUL drop off box for your keys. The whole experience had me second guessing if I was getting scammed somehow! Like, was that really U-Haul who changed my drop off address and led me to this “sketchy” shop. I’m all for supporting small business which this shop is attempting to be, but with all honesty this place should not be allowed to carry the U-Haul name in any capacity. It was unprofessional, underwhelming, and the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had renting anything (whether it be a building / room/ tool / vehicle). The only sense of relief I have that the vehicle was properly turned in was this survey I got earlier by email. Also want to point out that the neighboring mechanic shop rep let me know that this unfortunately happens all the time. A facility like this will 100% destroy your reputation.
