I didn't appreciate the up sale of the extra $14.00 to my already confirmed and paid for Truck. My daughter and her boyfriend came back and said they needed my Credit Card and ID because there was a problem with the confirmation and she had to redo it??? The problem was she added the $14.00 extra charge by changing the reservation and using my ID as a signature. Not happy about that at all - I know you want to have add-ons to the bill but that was taking advantage of someone who didn't fully understand what was happening. If I every rent again - I will make sure that does NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Truck great, getting it, terrible. First your web site keep crashing out, and I had to start over 4 times. 2nd. The booking receipt stated pick up at one locaation, but another got my reservation and a truck reserved there. At the location where the prepaid receipt/bookiing paper had no record of the reservation and I had to pay again. Later in the am I received a phone call from the other location asking when was I coming to pick it up? Hope I don't get two charges.

After being on the road for four days, I pull in, follow signs for check in and no one comes out. Nothing. I go in and clerk was with a customer , no hello, I'll be right with you , nothing . After five minutes of being ignore. I ask if there's a place I should park. She was overwhelmed and frazzled cause the other customer rented a truck and a storage unit, and she didn't do the storage unit. She sharply says, just go wait in the car and I'll come out. I go to car and check in online, take pics and I'm done. My husband was now inside being ignored. I yelled I checked in online I just need to disconnect it to my husband. The clerk told him you're not allowed to do that . He tells me. I said the online check in said to do it. For me, the renter to do it. I yell to my husband to come help me disconnect it. She comes out the door with other customer , said to them just wait here so I can shut them up. I said to her I just online checked in. She says you have to take pictures, I said I did. She says back it up over here. I said why are you being a bitch? I just want to go home, I'm tired. She says for that I'll make sure I'll charge you extra. The owner said I could. I said go eff yourself, just let me leave. She kept stalling. She says oh you damaged uhaul equipment I'll charge you. That's why you can't check in online. I need to do it. I said you better tell uhaul because I just did it. Why is there an email generated telling me to check in online? Ignores me. Tells husband to park it and she has to unhook it, she says customers aren't allowed. O said none of what you say makes sense. I'm reporting this whole transaction. Check ins should be smooth, simple and easy. She couldn't even greet me or my husband. She's beyond rude and incompetent as she made an error on the transaction before me . Her mistake is what caused the delay and put her in a foul mood. Next time I'll consider elsewhere. The Chambersburg store was the best and this Hudson one was the worst

The u-haul rep didn't know anything about the reservation. He did not have the furniture dolly I had requested and agreed to pay extra for. He just stated that they didn't have any, no sorry, just that he would take it off the bill. There was no walk around the truck to check for damage before I drove it off, no paperwork to show the previous damage. He just stated there are X's where previous damage has been done. Definitely did not feel like a valued customer and a repeat customer at that location at that.

If you tell a customer that you are open till 7 be open till 7. Out to lunch/dinner for a minimum of hour and half is not being open. I was not a happy camper when I pulled up at 4:15 pm to find an out to lunch sign, Be back at 5:30

The mobile app experience should be quick and easy to pick up the rental. Not have to waste time by going into the office to retrieve the key just to have someone not want to hand over the key until he calls someone on the phone to get permission. How embarrassing and rude. I will not be renting from that location again.


Have two employees working on a Saturday it’s an overload for one person. I had to wait for an hour with reservation.

Being sent certified letters wanting equipment I turned in in ga on time in location you told me on Macland rd in Hiram . A hair salon black male came out. Told us where to put it now being told I did not turn it in in Florida. I rented it in Florida from a rude lady never use Hudson again cause she kept changing and did not understand half what she was doing.

Currently I’m not satisfied, my truck was due back at 6:15pm. I arrived almost 6:00pm and I tried logging onto the app and it would not down load. I videoed your hours on the front door and Recorded on my phone so they could see what time I turned in the truck. I was charged a late return fee. They are suppose to be looking into it to see why I was charged a late fee. I’m just not understanding where your customer satisfaction is especially with the video and the time is also on the video. The customer service guy I spoke to today created a ticket and he said he doesn’t know why I was charged either and I turned the truck in on time. Now I have to wait 12-24 hours to receive my money back. Where is the customer service and satisfaction ? All people are not bad and trying to get over. Your app did not work, check your video and you can see when I came and dropped the truck and put the key in the lock box

Add a little WD-40 to the swing lock and the door lock. Getting a little rusty and hard to move .
