I had backed my van up to the trailer....partially in a right turn lane to connect. The rep had put the trailer on the hitch and connected the chains by the time i got out and to the back of my van. The trailer light connector was connected. The rep said you are go to go my man. I drov home, about 10 miles. Once home i proceeded to load my motorcycle. Luckily i was pushing it. The trailer came off the ball and rolled forward hitting the rear gate of my van. I have a nice dent and scratch now. O realized the rep had only turned the knob a couple times and it was not fully seated. A week later when i returned the trailer O asked the same rep on how to rectify this issues He says call Uhaul because he was only a 3rd party dealer. So, here I am. I do have time stamped pictures from the day i picked it up.

Picked up equipment gas tank was almost empty, equipment wasn’t in U-Haul I had to put the equipment in U-Haul myself. Never explained to me that there was an extra 100 dollar deposit. Most likely will not use U-Haul again.

ROY KThe only problem I had with location was the trailers, including car hauler was parked next to the highway. In order to hook and unhook, you block the right lane of the highway, which is also the right turn lane. Upon returning, you have to block both lane to back into parking spot or move trailer in by hand. I really think this is an accident waiting to happen to inattentive drivers.
LARRY OShannon was very friendly and accommodating. I had to change my schedule last minute and he took it in stride. Shannon is a good rep for U-Haul. The process is extremely simple and easy to use also.
