This is not a problem with the location, but the website: I was trying to book a one way rental, and it kept glitching. In the end, the quote was from this location to another in the same city, not several states away. I received a phone call to verify the rental, and I was told that the return location would be chosen at the time of the pickup, but I was not told that the quote I had seen online was less than half the cost of the actual rental! A bit of a nasty surprise. The guy at the location, though, was more that competent and professional, and the truck was one of the newest and best I have rented. (Also, I think the large, 20" stretch wrap was sold out, but I didn't ask, so that's on me.)

GERALD TThe gentleman at the Indianapolis location was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough in his explanations and he answered all my questions. Perfect example for a Uhaul employer.
MUHAMMAD SGot charged for 2 gallons of gas. When I picked up the truck, I took a picture of the gauges which showed 163 miles to empty. When I returned the truck, it had over 180 miles to empty. Why the additional charge? While it isn't much money, I don't appreciate what I consider dishonest and unjustified charges.
THOMAS BWhile we only picked up the car trailer at this location after being sent to 4 other locations to find it. I reserved a Truck and Car trailer a month prior and the day before we were switched from the North location for pickup to a south location, when my husband and son arrived they could not find the truck or car trailer that we reserved. After waiting about an hour they finally upgraded our truck but said they would have to go to another location for the trailer the next day. We also never got the Appliance dolly that we paid extra for. My husband and son arrived at the east side location and again no car trailer, they were then send to this down town location for the trailer. So after waisting time, gas and mileage driving around Indianapolis when my son lived on the west side they were finally able to get on the road over 6 hours later. This is not good customer service, and all the employees that my husband came in contact with except the gentleman at the downtown location were rude and unprofessional.This whole experience was horrible and I am not sure if we will ever rent from U-Haul again. I did file a complaint and was supposed to get an email from upper management but I have never been contacted. We paid over $1800 and were not happy at all with our experience. What is the point of a reservation or picking where you would like to pickup your equipment if your company can not have the equipment ready and where you need it. Unacceptable.
