My experience with UHaul was a disaster. I ordered a 15 foot truck from the Dempster location in Evanston IL. Went back a week later and changed to a 20 ft truck. The rep assured me that a 20 foot would be available. The day b4 I was to pick up the truck I received a notice that the 20 foot truck was not available and that I would have to drive to Lake Bluff IL which is a 45 minute drive each way. Arrived at the location and it was an old Motel. The Motel Owner assured me the dolly which I rented was in the truck and guess what it was not in the truck. Went back to the Dempster location to get a dolly and there was no dolly available. Spoke to a Uhaul rep on the phone and the phone call was cut off. Spent extra money for gas but the biggest issue was a loss of 3 hours of packing and I had packers waiting for me because of the delay. NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN / RUDE / And they don't give a shit about the customer. I will be filing a BBB complaint
