Reservation was at 10am. Got to the location and there was no one there. Called the number on the reservation and the number was unavailable/ voicemail. Went inside the property and almost got bit by a dog that belongs to a person living in a motor home. There are several motor homes and people living in the property. I should take legal action for emotional distress of Almost being attacked by the dog. The only thing that saved me was the chain didn’t reach where I was standing. He came few feet away from me.The attendant didn’t show up till 11am. I called customer service after waiting for a long time. The attendant finally showed up. Hooked up the trailer and collected payment. No Instaructions or any paperwork on anything. All he said was he’ll email the contract. U-Haul should do an in announced property inspection to protect its customers. I would never do another rental. I have also filed an incident report with U-Haul and waiting on a response. U-Haul should waive all my fees for what I went thru that day.

The U-Haul I was rented was so dirty and smelled really bad I feel like I was over charged for the amount of miles I drove to what the guy told me I drove and it was my first time renting a U-Haul and didn’t think to take pictures of the miles before leaving with the truck and I had to sweep out the back of the U-Haul cause it was left so dirty I will never rent from U-Haul again such a bad experience for it being my first time renting from this company don’t recommend at all

DEON JWhen I made the reservation, the pickup location was one block from my work. However, the location I was sent to was different, and I thought I could drop it off at any U-Haul location, but that wasn't the case. I barely made the miles included. I will never rent from U-Haul again.
DAVID AHe was very friendly and understanding and did an excellent job. Definitely will come back in the future if ever needed again.
