Prior to pickup, I received a call informing me that the truck size I reserved was not available and that I would instead receive the largest truck at no additional charge. While this was presented as an upgrade, it actually created additional inconvenience due to increased fuel costs and the difficulty of driving and parking a much larger vehicle. When I arrived, I was also told that the dolly I had reserved was unavailable. Because this was an important part of my move, I asked whether any compensation could be provided for the inconvenience. I was told the dolly charge would be removed, but since I never received a dolly in the first place, this did not address the issue. What was especially frustrating was that when I arrived at my destination and opened the truck, there were three dollies inside. This suggests that the equipment may have been available and was simply overlooked during pickup. Between not receiving the truck I reserved, not receiving accurate information about the dolly, and the additional challenges caused by these issues, the experience was far below what I expected.

STEVEN RThe guy in the office did not come to the counter, just yelled from the back office. Told us to unhook the trailer and come back in. We did. No personal attention. No assistance in unhooking. No inspection Weird. Trailer worked perfectly. Service at drop-off not so much.
Scott PIt was disappointing that the U-Haul system went down and equipment could not be checked out. However, things happen. The staff at the Lehi, Utah Location did their best to work thought the challenges. I was a difficult day from them. Good luck in the future.
