I did not receive any information pertaining to how to do the self service, and once I did figure it out the instructions weren’t very straightforward and the system was not wanting to take some of my answers so I had to retype them in. Pickup took an hour, which is entirely too long. The person on the help line was not helpful: would repeat what I have already said was not available to click on, guided us to the wrong truck court location on the entire other side of the parking lot, and when we told her that the key box was not accessible as the door would not open she hung up the call. When we finally reached a person to notify them about the key box not opening due to the key ring being stuck on the bolt to the door preventing it from sliding open, the person on the phone did not offer advice or to have someone come and meet us at the location to retrieve the key. We eventually got it out, but it took way too long and was a huge hassle. On drop off I was informed that I was supposed to receive a piece of paper with my allotted mileage on it, which I did not—electronically or physically. Will not be using U-Haul again, and will not be recommending others to use this either.
