I have had issues with this location in the past, but the current staff was well informed on the process, helped me throughout to make sure it went smooth and provided the “ahead of time assurance” I was looking for so that my morning of pick up went smooth. He did not remind me about the text I would be getting with the link to take photos and upload them before I left with the truck. Having rented many times I took many photos and am now looking for where I can upload them.

Difficult to find, location not marked well, indoor where to park truck

Christopher CStop using this location and locations like this. Using the local Gas and Sip for such an important situation in a person's life like moving across the country to Chicago from Denver is an insult to your customers! The person at the gas station was polite, but fairly uninformed regarding anything. I had made my reservation at a UHaul dealership 2 miles away and received a call the day before pick-up that I HAD to pick up my truck at the local Imart. NO CHOICE even when I asked! (Rude). It took me 45 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I was able to drive away, but because they did not have the packing blankets I had reserved, I actually had to drive to another dealership to pick up the 24 blankets I had reserved. Another 20 minutes out of the way! In addition, the fuel level on the contract was incorrect showing 7/8 of a tank on the contract and the actual level was 1/2 a tank. He was unable to change this in the contract and said it would be noted in the notes for the person at drop-off. IT WAS NOT!! This is why I took a photo of the fuel level with the starting mileage showing to prove it to the person at drop off, who completely understood my predicament and did not add any fuel charges that would have otherwise occurred. During the time I was trying to check-out and get my truck customers for the Imart kept coming in and I the gentleman at the counter would stop helping me and would help them. I do not blame him for this situation; he was doing the best he could with a difficult situation. I put the entire blame on UHaul for having this type of set-up and calling it more "convenient"! A dealership is 2 miles away and they should never be using this type of location for drop-off or pick-up!
