SETH GCustomers must be informed in advance of the potential overage of costs. I needed a van for part of the day, assuming that the base rental and insurance covers a 24 hr period. Returned a few minutes after office closing time the same day. I was unable to process the self drop off on the phone due to a battery issue. Returned after an hour or so only to find out that I have been charged twice the cost... That felt like a very underhanded move by the store manager. I have rented trucks and vans in the same neighborhood from other Uhaul facilities and have never been charged in this manner. Never coming back to this scammer!!!
