Mobile app experience at pickup was dreadful. Truck would barely start and had to spend 20 minutes getting it unstuck from mud and ice. Entire trip was a roll of the dice to shut the truck off - wasn’t sure if it was going to start back up. Sure enough, wouldn’t start on our way back to return. Glad I paid for the roadside assistance- even the guy that came to jump it said he’d serviced 8 uhauls just this week. I had to connect customer service on multiple occasions for issues - but every single person I spoke to was very nice and helpful, definitely helped

When we initially picked up the truck, I noted in the app that the truck was clean. However, in the back of the truck, there were shattered pieces of mirror and other debris that should’ve been cleaned out before allowing it to be rented. The location does not have a customer service desk, and the lockbox was jammed shut by the key fob. It took us 15 minutes to slide the door open enough to get the key out, which was made even more frustrating by the below freezing temperatures. The truck was backed into a pile of snow, so the required photos that we had to take through the app required us to trudge through snow nearly a foot deep. Next, and perhaps this isn’t the location‘s fault, the app refused to save the photos we had taken. The location has limited access to cellular data, so if that was the issue, then it was the location’s fault. For those lacking expertise in maneuvering a moving truck, there was limited space to back the truck into it spot once we returned it since there is a bank of storage units directly in front of the trucks. Thankfully, my husband is an experienced box truck driver, but even he had to wiggle around back-and-forthto get the truck back into its space. The truck itself had steering issues so when we returned the truck, we did recommend that that be addressed. We didn’t choose this location, U-Haul moved the reservation from the location that we chose to this one. I would not choose it again.

Christopher ONeed the lot plowed or maintained was tricky to get the empty truck out of the lot as there a small hill leavening and the truck wasn’t happy being pulled out of the parking spot.
