I ordered a truck with furniture pads and a utility dolly. I came to pick up my truck and found a Check Engine light on, no furniture pads, and no dolly. When I called the main UHAUL number the morning of my rental, I was told that the furniture pads and the dolly had been removed by the rental location. This was news to me, as I certain did not ask them to do so. I do appreciate that they cancelled them instead of charging me for something they didn't give me. All they had to do was let me know that they did not have furniture pads or a dolly in advance so I could make other arrangements. Instead, I found out when I picked up my truck, which then made me have to scramble to find at least 12 items that could function as furniture pads. You are only given so much time to move, and that time includes relying on furniture pads and a dolly that you were expecting to have.
