The people at 800-go-U-Haul were terrible they made my experience so much more difficult than it needed to be I will never call them again ! I will go straight to top tech auto I had a great experience there 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

MARQUES JThis was the fourth location I had to go to in order to get my U-Haul truck because apparently a reservation doesn’t mean a thing. Had a reservation for a truck at 10:00 and got there and the truck wasn’t there. Spent a half hour there just to get told to go to another location. At that location they didn’t have the truck or any trucks either. Mind you the first location “put in a reservation” at this place. After another 30 minutes at the second location they sent me to the third where I was welcomed to another no truck place and had to go to the fourth. After 2 hours I was finally able to pick up a truck that worked good enough to get my things. You thought that was it!? I went to fill my gas tank up to half in order to drop the truck off and after I spent $15 at the gas station I realized that someone had taken the tube off the truck to siphon gas out of the tank so all of the gas I thought was going into my truck was spilling on the ground. Horrible experience and never driving U-Haul again. Do not recommend!!
CULLEY JThe customer service, the boys were great. No complaints there at all. Very professional and personable. The issue for me was the location. The trucks are left out in the open in a dirt field by the store but with easy access from homeless or gangs. Since the location was closed early on that Saturday and I got back around 230 I had to make sure that I put the hand dolly in the cabin and not leave it in the back of the truck since there was no lock on the back of the U Haul. These are not locking gas caps which means anybody could go back there and siphon all the gas out. I was not only concerned about my own liability but felt badly for the location having those trucks so open to vandalism in that area. I also did not like that the gas tank was not completely full when I took it out. So how was I to gauge how much gas to put in when I was done? I simply filled it all the way to the top. So I probably put more gas in than I was supposed to since when I took it out it was l7/8 full.
TIMOTHY PLocation is conveniently off the Highway. We had no problems during pick up.
