Truck had a check engine light on. Unacceptable for any rental, even more so for a long-distance move. No ‘how can we make it right’? Dealer refused to swap or return truck, making it our problem to call roadside assistance to have it checked out before doing anything. Does anyone have time for that during a move??? At least someone at UHaul customer support arranged a truck swa at another dealer.. Would never rent from this dealer again.
Tawney RIt was by chance I selected this location and it was an excellent choice. Doug was very helpful and I highly recommend renting Uhaul equipment from this location.
KATHRYN BOverall the truck was okay. The cab had a cat urine odor to it. The app I used to reserve the truck was not very easy to follow as it did not give me an option to upload photos of the damage along the driver's side prior to accepting the rental agreement and using the truck. I had to have the U-Haul employee come and note the damage as he was not sure if it was recorded from the previous rental. The U-Haul employee was very professional and helpful in getting me on the road with rental and in explaining the details of the rental agreement.
CHESTER WMobile drop off horrible. Waited over 30 minutes for a code for the gate and had to make several calls bc the facility was saying to call uhaul and uhaul said call the facility. Complete joke. Probably won’t use uhaul again just based off this.
