Dropped off before they opened. Your app shows 4 steps to remote drop off but nothing to confirm you dropped ofc.
JOHN AArrived promptly at 8:30 AM to pick up the truck I had reserved the week before. Began the process to get keys for the truck using the U-HAUL app, but the app indicated “no equipment is assigned to this reservation”. Called the customer service line & was told sorry there is not a unit available for you at that location. There were 2 trucks in the lot, a 26’ & a 20’. I had reserved a 20’. Customer service reworked my contract for the 26’, went through the steps in the app to open the key box but no key in the box. Another 15 min hold later I had a new customer service rep.
James MU-Haul in general..... I drove from the pickup home, loaded and drove directly to the destination and stopped twice for gas and drove to drop-off location. I was 1 mile more than the allotted miles and was billed for it! Your software has no idea what reasonable mileage should be. Ridiculous, especially since I took a bigger truck to help you get trucks in the right place!
JOHN AEverything went great, truck was clean, ran well, and had cold AC. No complaints.
