Since there are no humans present - I get to do all the rental administration and paperwork while paying the regular rates for a rental - I found the overall process cumbersome and overly distrustful of the customer. I will not rent this way again.

WILLIAM VVery new and clean van. Easy to drive and fairly fuel efficient. I used virtual pickup and drop off seamlessly.
PAUL ZCalled night before and they told me someone should be there by 7:00AM, my return time. Gate wasn’t open at 7:30 still. Called U-Haul and they tried to help. Finally the local U-Haul territory personnel’s me to just j hook and leave outside the gate, which I did.
