This was a pretty horrid experience overall with all of the problems we had with this transaction I don’t know if we would ever use or recommend uhaul ever again
Original rental location did not have my rental. Operators refused to assist, and told me to call them myself. Second location: Operator was closing doors at 10am, and was very irate that I was there asking to pick up my reservation. Truck had used blankets in back, and not been swept.
Tell your U-Haul guy to stop ripping people off. States the truck was dirty. Bull-shit, we cleaned it and swept it & the cab was immaculate. Rip Off Artists.
Sabal Palm was amazing in accommodating us. U-Haul however really dropped the ball. I made a reservation on a Saturday for the next Monday and even went thru the express checkout. Upon arrival at the location I was told they didn’t have the car carry along I had requested and that it was up to me to find another. I HAD RESERVATIONS. This will be the last time uhaul gets my business.

We had to pick up the uhaul at 8am. The office was closed and when we found a worker, they didn't know there was a reservation for that day. We ordered 2 hand trucks and 1 utility hand truck but he only had 1 of the 3 needed

Place is supposed to be closed on our pick up date but he very kindly arranged a truck for us despite this and was very helpful, which we appreciated much. Only thing is that it is kind of far from town.

You can replace the general manager in the fort pierce uhaul! As a US Marine to be called a fucking asshole by a GM is absolutely unacceptable. I filed a complaint against this location and NEVER even received a phone call from uhaul! I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and will NEVER USE OR REFER ANYONE EVER AGAIN!

This facility did all it could to accommodate my move. Unfortunatly the previous person who rented my truck hauled hogs in it. The truck smelled awful. It was the only truck and I know Matt did all he could. I took it home and mopped it out and tried to remove the odor of hog poo for several hours so that my furniture would not smell. My understanding is that the previous customer had been charged $75 clean up fee. Customer support was very helpful since this site was 20+ miles further than where I had originally scheduled pick up.
No one at the location I called the number and the man said he would check it in when he returns just drop it by the tree. I said I didn't know how to get the hitch off my truck and he said just unhook the chain and lights and turn the knob lift and drop it. oh well I figured it out and left the trailer there and never received a call back to let me know he had checked it in and all was fine for all I know someone stole it. poor customer service at both sights and not helpful.
When picked up truck it was a quart low on oil. .was not given the option to provide insurance and was billed for insurance thru uhaul...front end bounced the whole trip as if front end not balanced.

Overall great. Rented a trailer for 5 days. Got paid $50 because first place want able to rent me one. That's pretty great. Trailer was a little dirty but other then that no complaints.. :)
