The pick up point was not manned, so I had to find out the hard way that I could not purchase a tow bar with a 2 inch ball so that I could use the trailer I was picking up. I had to drive back into Auburn to a Walmart to purchase the towbar. Not convenient and a waste of time, gasoline, and goodwill. The people I talked to on the phone from U-Haul were pleasant, and I don’t blame them. The bigger challenge is helping people get all that they need in one effort. I drove right by the Walmart on the way out to the remote U-Haul location, and in the back of my mind, I thought about getting a towbar from them. Your website for ordering works fairly well, but gave me no warning that the location for picking up my trailer was unmanned.

There was no one there when they opened I had to call u haul and local. Number 5 times. Then do everything over the phone as no one showed up to sign out equipment

MICHELLE DThis is a liquor store that is not manned. Call number to drop off trailer. STRANGE. Never received email confirming receipt of trailer which was disconcerting. Only received survey so assume the location received the trailer after we called to notify that we were on the lot.
Christopher WI dropped off after hours so didn’t see any personnel, but this location is in the middle of nowhere down a dark two lane road. It looks like an abandoned gas station in a field with potholes everywhere and weeds growing up through the asphalt. UHAUL parking was in the grass on the side of the building. I could not get out of there fast enough.
