We rented a 26’ truck on Nov.29. The local dealer provided great service. But, as we drove we found there was a problem with the transmission. On the highway, the truck ran fine. But, in town, when slowing down to approach a corner, the truck would not gear down, so that as you went around the corner the truck remained in 5th gear and the motor would just bog down, unable to turn over a tranny in 5th gear, until the truck was going slow enough (10 km/hr) then the tranny would shift and you could start to go. This was a dangerous situation. Coming through Sicamous, BC on to Hwy 1, is a merge. As we tried to pull onto the hwy, the tranny had still not shifted and instead of speeding up the truck just went slower. This truck needs a tranny over haul. Everything else about the truck and the service at both ends was great, but this truck, and sorry I don’t know the number, needs to be pulled and serviced. The second truck I rented showed me how these trucks were to function. It was perfect! I hope this is helpful and that truck can get the servicing it desperately needs. Phil
