Especially in cold weather and before someone picked up the rental, it would be helpful to have them double check the air pressure in the tires and confirm the battery is strong
THOMAS WI was charged for a dolly that I brought back my account should have been just put on hold. I let the front desk know I was bringing the dolly back before they closed as we had forgot to put it back in uhaul. When I returned the dolly as proposed I was told that they closed my account out and charged me 200 dollars for the dolly. They proceeded to tell me I had to take it up with uhaul even though I returned the dolly.

Jennifer MI had reserved a furniture dolly. When I picked up the truck it was parked in front of several trailers I had to take 3 attempts to pull it out. Then after getting to my location, I realized there wasn't a dolly in the truck. When I called I was told that it's Uhaul's issue because they don't have Dolly's and that Uhaul just "parks their trucks here". After costing me much of the day without the equipment I needed. They proceed to double charge my card causing my account to go overdrawn. Customer service was abismal. Not the company I would want representing Uhaul. Terrible from start to finish. DO NOT USE GERKEN RENTAL
