It took a long time to get the truck when I had already done the online check in the day before. The outside of the gas station where the truck was parked smelled like a urinal and there was a soaking wet shirt hanging on the mirror. I couldn’t hear the attendant behind the bullet proof glass either.

I had completed all the information required via Truck Share on the U-haul app and went inside to get the key. I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get the key as the man at the counter called his supervisor (?) in which once he got him on the phone, he asked for all of my information again to be verified. I showed the man who was behind the counter that I had already confirmed all of the information through the app, and I just needed the key. His supervisor over the phone insisted I verify the information aloud after I had told him I just done this moments ago. I finally got the key and did what I had to do, but upon returning the truck, as per the directions on the app, I cleaned out the rental, locked the doors, and dropped the key in the drop box. The same worker behind the counter banged on the glass window and told me to bring the key inside to him. I told him, I do not have it any longer it is inside the locked lock box. He proceeded to give me the nastiest look and roll his eyes. If he had wanted me to return the key inside, he should have told me as he was giving it to me in the first place. And if this location would like to be a U-haul provider, they should train their employees on how the system works. I should not have waited 30 minutes for a key that was guaranteed to just be handed over to me.
Elena LDon't rent through this location. It was a terrible experience. I waited over 30 minutes for the people ahead of me to complete their transaction and mine took close to 30 as well. The packing blankets i had reserved were not placed in the truck, luckily the person on the phone was "nice" enough to refund my money. Yes, he made a point of mentioning that. The entire check-in procedure was terrible. Starting with the wait, then the way-too-long time for me. Not having a person in the store to talk to talk to is horrible customer service. Finding out I did not have the blankets to finally not being able to change my drop off location to a more convenient place. Drop today was a breeze, Roberts & Sons in Morrisville, VT does a great job.
