There was no place for me to park the truck. I had to put it in an alley, blocking the alley. I dropped the car at 6pm on Saturday, but they registered me as returning it at 10:30am on Sunday.

I did the mobile pickup used the code to unlock the key, and the store keeps the keys inside the store and not the lockbox. Thankfully they just opened. The truck wasn't ready, then. I got into the truck and it was below E. This is the fourth time this month I've rented a U-Haul, and this was the worst experience.

Rhonda WI chose to pick up keys in store and the store clerks had literally no idea what they were doing or how to help me.. They didn’t even know they had a cargo van there for me to pick up. Not sure if it was cleaned or looked at at all since the last renter. They just told me to call uhaul because they didn’t have keys inside, that they were in a lock box and I needed a code from the website. It wouldn’t let me try to get a code because I chose to pick up in store. After the clerk calling his boss and me having to talk to him on the clerks cellphone, they figured out the keys were inside and they just gave them to me. Then I got in the truck and the change oil light was on. The pick up took about 45 minutes to figure everything out, it was just a mess.
Gabriella LThis location itself was fine but the U-Haul company let us down. We had a medical emergency at the start of moving day, called the local U-Haul customer number and explained the situation. We asked for a free hour extension on our rental because we may not get it back in time due to one of us being in the emergency room for, again, a medical emergency. The representative on the phone was less than sympathetic and offered only to extend the rental time to 24 hours at the usual rate. This was already a highly stressful day without having to deal with this. This experience has left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth and we may not use U-Haul again.
