Laurie EWe picked up the truck on a Saturday so everything had to be handled through the app. Although we tried to upload a photo of the odometer to the website it didn't take. We didn't see anything on the app that said to verify the odometer against the "paperwork" (all digital) and we didn't think of it. We drove to Quincy and back, a total of 84 miles. When we got the receipt a couple of days later we were billed for 154 miles. I called U-Haul and also Gellar's. No one cared since we didn't have a photo of the odometer nor had we compared the odometer with the "paperwork". But someone at Gellar's either entered the mileage wrong from the previous renter's return or took a drive of 70 miles off the books. Either way, we ended up paying for 70 miles that we didn't drive along with the fuel charge for the extra 70 miles. Not sure if we'll use U-Haul again but we certainly won't use Gellar's for the pick up location. (Gellar's does have great ice cream).
