The UHaul location in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, BC is a Pawn Shop. So, it is not really an inviting spot. The fellow was helpful inside. But, when he sent in his photo of mileage and fuel information. He had a different fuel gauge reading than the photo that I took prior to dropping off the vehicle. I think your trucks need to be fully turned on to get the actual reading. As I had taken a photo of my mileage and fuel gauge prior to returning it. And I submitted that photo with my dispute of extra fuel charge. Uhaul did provide a full reimbursement of the extra fuel charge with proof from my photo. Unfortunately, it is the only location in Port Alberni. So, I would have to recommend it. But, you are ever looking for another location, I would have suggestions.
