How U-Haul Reviews WorkNot the owners fault, but I booked a smaller truck well in advance of the move, like a month. A couple of days before the move, Uhaul messaged me with a "free upgrade" to a larger truck, which I did not need. The larger truck cost me an extra $130 to get on the ferry and more in fuel as well. I would have preferred to be directed to a different location that could supply the size I needed. The move cost me a lot more than the quote at time of booking because of the "free upgrade" to a large truck.
Bevra FWhen I picked up the truck, the gas tank was below half, I filled it up for our trip and returned it with the same amount. I was told the contract stated it had half a tank and I need to add more file so I wasn’t charged. Not understanding why these trucks are not filled when they leave. Leave full return full…..just saying
