I like the idea of a short check-in online but the process was way too convoluted. I worked on it for 5/7 minutes filling my name in many times and then when it came to payment info it said step 1 of 10 and I backed out! Way too convoluted! Otherwise all was good as usual B-)

Great customer service! I made a mistake and reserved the wrong size vehicle. Anita Handley was very helpful and made sure I had what I needed. Made my day.

The cab of the uhaul was freshly sprayed with some sort of air freshener and I could barely breath while driving. Had to drive with the windows down in the cold rain. Air fresheners like that are also toxic, so I am upset on many fronts. No one wants to drive one of these trucks smelling like they are inside a potpourri death trap.

Too crowded-unable to leave equipment for drop off- no space available- a little inconvenient, but staff was great

I’ve been charged an xtra $15.00 ... would like to know why? Please inform me! Thank You

All employees standing out back smoking while me and another customer waited for 10 minutes inside. Slow inattentive employees that didnt seem to care at all. Trailer was okay one of the tail lights was broken though. Would have used a different location if the trailer I needed was in stock.

Uhaul called twice while I was driving and wanted to give me directions for drop off. They wouldn't accept the fact that I have used this drop off location several times. I had to pull off the road each time to answer the calls.

I explained the vapor lock problem to the man at the desk and his supervisor. Neither seemed to comprehend what I was saying and they proceeded to charge me over $60 since I did not return the truck with a full tank. We are in Oregon, where service stations require an attendant to pump gas. So they expected me to have some poor gas station attendant in a city spend 20 minutes filling the tank? That's ludicrous. I will never, ever use Uhaul again if you cannot provide better service. I filed this as a support case over the phone and never heard back. I will take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.

Uhaul is a scam. Here are the problems encountered with my recent move. 1) I “reserved” a 15’ truck for a one way trip. I picked a “preferred pickup location” that was close to my house, as I’d be riding my bike to pickup. Two days before my move date, they sent me the actual location of my truck, much farther away. I called to try and remedy this and was told the TWO closest pickup locations don’t even carry 15’ trucks and don’t do one way reservations! Wow. Would have been nice to have the computerized reservation system capable of recognizing this. Like I need more stress in a move. 2) When I picked up my truck at 8:30am, the cost was nowhere near my quote. My quote was for $557. They FAILED to include nearly $100 in the quote. $5 for an environmental fee. $10 for a vehicle license recovery fee. And $81.09 in rental tax. WTF? You can’t put those IN THE QUOTE so your customers can make a realistic evaluation of their truck rental costs? Those are called HIDDEN FEES U-Haul. Hidden fees!!! The GM of my local rental office is refusing to refund these. 3) Finally, and representative of the most egregious error, I was charged $2,429.61 which was apparently for another truck which was driven to MARYLAND! This charge has STILL NOT BEEN REFUNDED. This much money hitting my card could cause my account to go into default, and impact my credit score for years. How irresponsible. It’s important for customers to trust you with their money. Not uhaul. Never again. They apologized for this but offered no discount for compensation. They want your money, provide poor and in my opinion fraudulent service, and don’t do a damn thing to compensate you.

I should have been told I could not drop off in the the town I requested before I rented, not after I tried to drop it off. Also in the end, there was plenty of room in at the Tillamook location, so I'm not sure why that wasn't an option. Suggesting I drive to Gearheart vs Tillamook is absurd. Why would I pay a one way fee, if I have to drive as far as my destination to drop it off?

Overall, a really pleasant and straightforward process! Maybe make the drop box for the keys more visible and in the online instructions for drop off, put a sentence indicating that we can park the uhaul in any parking spot and there's not one designated spot. (Unless there are designated spots and in that case, sorry for parking in the wrong area...). Thank you!

Equipment did not function as expected, taillight was out and trailer breaks were scary. Also, using the night dropoff was a nightmare and took forever.

I pre-paid for 4 dozen moving pads and accessories and only realized they had not included ANY of that in the truck once we arrived at the location to move. It’s been days and U Haul still hasn’t refunded me. Truly terrible.
