Please let renters know that they will need a second form of ID such as a passport or military ID when doing the self-check out. I had to send my friends' contact information to them because I was not told to bring a second form of ID. Luckily I had people to help me out and answer the phone and some questions for Uhaul, but I imagine that is not always the case. Please let people know in advance about this!

A walk through of what we are supposed to do if we have to return it after close. When we returned our after close there was 3 other people who were returning and they were just as confused. No one understood where to park because other people had blocked entrances and it was chaotic.

Requested the furniture pad refund and was advised that it is the responsibility if the pick up location. Being run around for a service paid for, but not provided.

Seemed like the sensor for when vehicles drive up to the return lane was broken. I waited outside, like the signs say to do, but eventually gave up, walked through the rain and found 3 employees inside with no customers.

Traffic flow in and out is a little confusing. Suggest adding "Equipment Pickup" to the sign "Equipment Pickup".

I was given a truck with a faulty gas receptical opening. I didn't know this until I was well on my way back. The first time gas was put into the truck several gallons spilled out onto the pavement at the station. Gas went into tank and it was full so I assumed incorrectly it was either operator error or there was a problem with the full valve. Neither was correct and two more times I had gas put in a gallon or so went out onto the pavement. When this persisted I stopped putting gas in and returned the truck. I reported the problem but nothing was done to compensate me for the wasted gas I ended up paying for. When I called the customer service # for help I was paraded through 20 ads until I gave up. I am just now seeing this email. I would appreciate a UHAUL customer service rep to contact me.

I drove across town to get moving boxes rather than a location much closer to get as many as I needed, but the store didnt have enough despite reserving & prepaying online in advance. They suggested I drive to another uhaul to get more... What a joke. Could have used alienbox or another company if i knew earlier. Will never use uhaul again

I have closer uhaul locations and go here because it's efficient and I always get the exact vehicle I want, and the dudes who work here are concise and respectful.

The lock on the truck wouldn't work -- 3 strong and smart adults couldn't get it to lock. It needed lubricating. The truck ate gas like I've never seen before in my life. We drove 11 miles, and that took more than 4 gallons of gas. That's less than 3 miles to the gallon. For a truck less than 1/5 full. Not okay.

I opted to pick up the vehicle at the location using my cell phone, but the process once I got there was so involved, I think it actually took more time than it would have if I'd just gone inside, which I eventually had to do, anyway. I don't have any suggestions on how to improve this, but I don't see how this option accomplishes anything as it not only includes many steps, it also requires the customer to see an attendant, so if there's a line at the desk, it's still necessary to wait in it in order to finish checking out.
