The location was a very old gas station/garage, not open for business. There was a man inside working on a very old truck, I’m not even sure that he worked for the U-Haul location. He was rather oblivious to where to park or what to do with the equipment. He was very friendly and did help me lift the trailer off of my truck. He told me to call a telephone number listed on a sign on the building for U-Haul and I spoke with Barbara. She was very friendly and helpful. Even after we dropped the keys in a box on the wall without getting pictures of the full fuel gauge and the odometer, she said that she would take care of it. In all, it all got done and was taken care of. Thank you, Barbara.

Stuart DNot a thing Barbara helped me thru the process
Christine LNobody was at the location except a man doing car repair, but was not associated with U-Haul. I tried to use the app to return the truck but it was too hard and not user friendly. Decided to just drop the keys and contract in the box and eat the service fee. Seems like a Saturday at 4 pm there could have been someone available to help. Everything else about the rental process was fine, except the drop off. The app needs work - or this is a way to get a service charge for the drop-off location.
GREGORY DYour business is inherently flawed. This is a systemic problem! You should have extra vehicles stored at every location. i.e. just a little buffer or "wiggle room" in case something goes wrong. I reserved a truck. It wasn't there at the location of my reservation. They told me I could get truck at the backup location 12 miles away. So, I took a taxi there, and the truck was not there. So, I cancelled my plans to move that day (I had to call my friends and tell them we'd do it later, thus inconveniencing *them* as well). I tried again, 2 weeks later. The truck was not at the location of my reservation. The backup truck was at a location 50 miles away. This should not be happening. You need to have an extra truck available at each location to accommodate unexpected situations, or have some other protocols in place to prevent this from happening. Having to cancel and reschedule plans, adds stress to an already stressful process. Next time I move, I would happily 40% more to go to one of your competitors, in order to have a vehicle ready at the time I need it, and at the location I reserved it!
