I WAS SENT TO THREE (3) DIFFERENT LOCATIONS to pick up a 15' truck for my move from CA to New Mexico even though a confirmed advance reservation was in place! This caused an approx 2+ hours delay. Additionally there were several other 15' trucks sitting in the parking lots that should have been given to me for my move, but none were offered! The staff at locations #1 and #2 were extremely unhelpful & were borderline in being EXTREMELY RUDE. No one would answer questions being asked of them & simply "passed the buck" onto another individual who would not answer questions about the other 15' trucks or why I was being sent to different location. Then upon trying to pick up a AUTO TRANSPORT in Cathedral City, CA. again I had another nightmare experience - a flat tire, torn belts on both sides (front area of auto transport). Initially they changed the flat tire & attempted to remove and replace front "belts" but were unable to do so...........this alone took about 2 hours as one employee after another attempted to fix these items. These delays (3 different locations for the 15' truck plus the problems encountered relating to the auto transport) forced a lost day to load the truck!!! I have rented from UHaul several times in past years and never experienced anything close to what occured for the rental of a truck and auto transport. I feel I should be compensated monetarily in the form of a credit for what happened on this rental experience. Yes I was given "extra miles" and an "extra day" - neither of which I needed or used!
