The moving blankets were damp and reeked of mildew. We couldn't use them. The van was great, the people were nice, the process was fine. But the blankets almost made me barf and I was moving some cabinets i had just built and did not want to risk wrapping them in something moldy.
Lennox GJohn was great. Make sure to thank him
Nalan GThe front desk officer was good but could be better.
JAMES EThe guy working when I picked up my truck at 10:30am on 2025-10-19, I am sorry that O did not catch his name, was friendly and helpful. The truck was clean. My constructive feedback has not to do with this location but rather with U-Haul’s general processes. A customer is now required to take photographs of their own ID using their own smartphone. I’ve only had my smartphone for about a year, and had I not owned one, I could not rent from U-Haul. I only learned of this process/requirement at the counter—since I opted for the in-office checkout rather than the self checkout. It could have been a terrible situation otherwise. My message is this: not everyone has a smartphone. Please state this requirement at the top of your website. Additionally, if I am doing the administrative work, I should think the savings are passed on to me, as line item deductions toward my rental.
