This U-Haul rental location is also a Super 8 Motel. The U-Haul rental equipment was located in the Motel’s parking lot as well as behind another adjacent Motel’s property. Upon entering the Super 8 Motel’s lobby, I was asked by the female employee behind the counter where I had parked the trailer. I informed the employee that the trailer was still hooked to my truck, and I was in the parking lot. She directed me to the location behind the adjacent Motel’s.property and told me to drop it there. No assistance to unhook the trailer was provided or even offered. Upon return to the Motel’s lobby the female employee told me she would check me out and I did not need to wait. I began to exit the lobby when I realized she didn’t even know my name or the number to the trailer I was dropping off. I returned to the lobby and made that point to her, at which time an actual helpful U-Haul employee addressed my concern, and indicated that I was right. He proceeded to check me out in a very professional matter, something the female employee did not appear capable of doing. It is not my place to tell U-Haul, how to conduct its business, but I would strongly encourage you to consider choosing a different party to partner with aside from this particular. Super 8 Motel. In addition, the property of the Motel is very unkept, which includes the surface of the parking lot. Overall, not a good representation of your company, and I have rented countless items from U-Haul.

When I arrived the only help available was a young women who had little if any knowledge of the trailers. She expected me to remove the trailer myself and that she needed to stay at the hotel desk. I informed her that the trailer was too heavy to lift. She got a friend and they brought a jack. She did not know where to place the jack. I showed her and she began to lift the trailer with the jack. I told her she needed to chock the back wheels but she ignored me. When the trailer released it rolled backward and off the paved lot into the grass. This drop off location should be discontinued until they are able to adequately staff.

Kevin AThis place is crazy...trucks all over 2 hotel lots and you have to find yours and return it to the same space. Things were added to my reservation (pads and dolly) that I didn't reserve or need. I thought we got it cleared up, but, it was on my final invoice. A person called me 3 days later to verify I didn't get or order those. I verified. Got "corrected" invoice. Still there. Went in just now, as there still hadn't been a correction, and was told the mgr had corrected it, and my conversation cut off. My credit card shows no correction, so, I guess I'm out that $. I tell people to avoid this location.
