You need to get away from the online experience. Both my pickup point and my drop off point were made so that I was supposed to be able to do this all by myself. And that's not a problem. Except if you don't have a good cell signal. Every other experience I have had with you all has been five stars, everything from renting vans to full-blown trucks to trailers to tow cars on. But this one was horrendous because of a prolonged check in experience where everything had to be done via the phone and also the drop off experience which was the same. This is unacceptable. And if I find out it's going to be an online experience again where I have to deal with a kiosk I'll just find another service.

the rental location needs a wifi boost do to no signal
ANTHONY RThe Uhual had a full tank of gas, the tires were fine, fluids seemed topped off, but the interior wasn't vacuumed, the rear box area, wasn't swept amd cleaned out, and we found dirty and wet paper towels in the door jams. One of the sun visors was broken and the driver side window handle was broken. This is the worst experience we've had with Uhual. And then when we stated on the return that the truck should be cleaned out, we were to be charged $25. We shouldn't be charged $25 for someone else's mess. These are basic things that should ve checked out by the local Uhual business before renting it out to another person.
Joshua HPlease improve the check-in process, it's cumbersome took me about 40min. Make sure to correctly report the mileage and gas gauge from the dashboard so customers don't have to spend hours the phone to fight charges. Called several times, left a voicemail about the discrepancies on the gas and milage readers, but they never returned the call. They still went ahead charge me for driving 186 miles (in 2h) when I actually only drove 42 miles. Like who on Earth can drive 186 miles in 2h in a cargo van?
NIC SI have no suggestions for improvement. The customer service was top notch!
