Don’t park trucks down on a hill when there is ice everywhere… I asked the man to bring the truck up because it was down a steep hill and ice everywhere- he pointed at it and said it just halfway down the hill… and I said - yes and the hill is full of ice - I didn’t want to fall and he burned so much rubber off the tires trying to get the truck up the hill… and It took a bunch of tries to accomplish getting up the hill… and the truck was moving sideways and then back and forth - finally smoke everywhere and the smell of burnt rubber the truck made it up the hill… thanks to the young man who did that after I asked and explained why I wasn’t going to do that.

The fact that we are unable to know the pickup location until 24 hours prior is extremely disappointing. We had to drive 2 hours out of the way round trip in order to pickup a truck when there were several locations closer.

JAMES SI dropped off my trailer to n 11/4/25. The person working the desk informed me he had me checked in and I "was good to go". On 11/9/25 I received a notification on my card for a charge for another 4 day rental with insurance. U-haul customer service was not helpful and told me I would not be getting a full refund because they had me down as a one way trip even though I ordered on the phone a "return to same location as pick up" and confirmed it with the front desk personnel. I was then told my refund will still not be for the entire charge due to the insurance purchase. I RETURNED THE TRAILER ON THE 4TH. So why was I charged insurance for the extended rental?! I paid for my original rental WITH insurance up front at the u-haul location when I picked up the order. This is an unauthorized charge and unacceptable business practice. Customer service even agreed they see I dropped the trailer off on my initial return date of 11/4. So why charge me extra? I am contesting the charges on my credit card account. This is unacceptable and I will not be using U-haul again and I will refer people away from this company. Horrible overall experience.
