I would not recommend this location based on my experience. My reservation was for 7:00 a.m., but the pickup location’s gates were locked and I could not access the property. Even more frustrating, I was checked in before I ever received the truck, and my card was charged even though I was standing outside for over an hour unable to get my rental. After all of the confusion, I finally received a truck at approximately 9:20 a.m. from a different location that was even farther away. This caused significant delays to my moving day and added unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. I was charged for a dolly that was not included with the truck, and the fuel tank was empty when I picked it up, creating yet another inconvenience before I could even begin moving. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. I was in tears because I was on a tight schedule to move, and despite the delays, incorrect charges, missing equipment, and poor condition of the truck, I was not offered any courtesy discount or compensation. I expected much better customer service from U-Haul. Customers should not be charged before they can actually access their reserved truck, and when so many things go wrong, the company should take responsibility and make a genuine effort to make it right.
