I was a little late returning the truck and had forgotten my own car keys when I showed up. I was allowed to go back and get my keys and was chcked in as on-time anyway. Thank you U-Haul for a great experience and for providing what I needed to get my new furniture home.

The individual that checked the truck out was not trained to do the computer work, which caused a delay in our rental. He then was not knowledgeable about the equipment. WHen asked about the trucks maintenance and low fuel level he said that should be ok. It was not a good customer service experience. If we had another option we would have taken it and not used u-haul.

The entire rental experience was a very positive one, which is not always the case at other U-Haul locations. Lance was very helpful in hooking up the trailer, assisting with checking out the lights, and also when I returned it. He was pleasant, quick and explained things clearly.

please check added step on side of van too close to vans own step . I fell repeatedly. my knees will not work today. hand holds would be very helpful. I rented a wonderful van if I had the money I would buy one. but getting out was a pain. slipping falling over bending my knee. please look into this thank you again everything was great otherwise. This was the third time I have rented a cargo trailer and two of the three times there have been issues with the trailers. The first time the lights didn't work and two of them needed to be replaced. The second time everything was fine. This last time the door was really hard to unlatch/unlock. We also had to go back to the U-Haul location because a wire broke and needed to be replaced in order for the running lights to work.

Check in and check out were easy and efficient. The truck handled well, was clean, and spacious. The is my second time renting a truck from them, and excellent service was provided each time.

It should be disclosed that this facility has no after hour access prior to signing contracts. This wasted my time and cost me a loss of pay because now I have to take off a day from work now and so do the people r b at were helping me. I asked the associate 3 times to call the manager and he wouldn't and said he couldn't do anything for me, I am lived he should have told me when he was estimating the mileage and knew I was moving that we would not have access to the storage unit. This has cost me a lot of money that was uncalled for and I feel I should be compensated some how.

We reserved a cargo van for the day to move our daughter to an apartment, to pick up at 9 am, but could not rent it due to problems with the credit card company. Mastercard's system was down. Because of UHAUL'S policy, we could not give a cash deposit for the van. So we waited for an hour at the recommendation of the credit card company, in case their issues were resolved. Just to hedge our bets, we drove back home to get our other vehicle with a trailer hitch, so if the credit company issues were not fixed, we could rent a trailer - not our ideal solution, but at least we would still be able to move today. When we returned to the UHAUL dealer, we were not surprised to find that the credit card company's system was still down so we couldn't rent the cargo van (they only take debit or credit cards, not cash or checks) so we got the trailer, paying cash for that. We realize that it was beyond UHAUL'S control, but they made NO EFFORT to make things right, give us a different vehicle for the same price which we could put a cash deposit on, or give us the $50 that UHAUL advertises on their website if they can't give you what you reserved. They were not willing to help us out at all or be flexible in any way. If we had not had a vehicle with a hitch, we would not have been able to move, which would have been a major problem. Very disappointed with UHAUL and their customer service policies, and service. The person at the desk didn't even apologize for the major inconvenience and 2 hour delay. Can't recommend them.

There were two safety issues with the vehicle i rented. First, the 4 way switch didnt even work, also i was shocked at how dirty the inside windshield was, it looked like it was covered with dirt with water marks that dried that way.

I was three and a half hours late returning, 6:45pm instead of 3:22pm and was charged an extra day! We called to let them know we would be late and were told it was unlikely they would charge us anything or 1/2 day at the most. Really disappointed in the people at U-Haul!!!!! There is more but who cares.

We have rented from Uhaul 4 times this year and had a terrible time each time. But this time was the worst. I called to POSSIBLY change my reservation to pick up one day early and the man I spoke with was by far the rudest person I have ever come into contact with. He definitely should not be working in the customer service profession. He was so bothered by my phone call at 8 in the morning that he hung up on me 3 times. I than handed the phone to my husband and he said to my husband "I can't understand you", my husband than said to him "can you hear me now?" And the employee responded "nope, can't hear you". Now... how would he be able to repeat what my husband said word for word if he "didn't understand" him? I than called from my home phone and he actually picked up the phone and hung up on me without even saying anything at all.....twice.Second problem is we payed the deposit with a credit card and when we dropped the truck of we payed with a different form of payment. I specifically asked how long it would take to remove the hold on the deposit money and he said "immediately, once we take a different form of payment, the hold is gone". That's definitely not true, it takes 3-5 days according to customer service. So now, we have essentially payed twice until the deposit money is released, which created many, many problems for our family today. Not to mention last time we rented from Uhaul, it took nearly a month to return our deposit money....absolutely ridiculous. Don't intend on giving Uhaul anymore business.

Telephone reservation process and change to my reservation went very well. (Shirley and Sidney were friendly, professional and very helpful). The morning of the pick-up could have been improved by a more attentive and personable clerk. I was made to feel one I was a bother as opposed to being a valued customer.

The Truck i got was a Mechanical Disaster lol Not the fault of the location or People at the location ! It just had high miles and is probly ready for retirement. first time i ever got a truck with 148k +- lol I LOVE Uhaul and have used ya'll and the Saco Location so many times in the last 20 yrs i should own stock hahahaha :) Keep up the GOOD WORK. One last thing .... PLEASE START OFFERING A 10% DISCOUNT OR A FREE MILEAGE FOR DISABLED VETERANS WITH A DAV CARD. THANK YOU :)

Gas was not exactly "full" when I received the truck. Within 2 miles of departure the gauge was at 7/8 of a tank. When I returned truck it cost $15.20) $2.15 per gallon) to really fill it up for 48 miles(of which 35 miles on highway) which would imply that the truck receives 6-7 miles per gallon which I don't believe is accurate given the condition and newness of truck( I also drove in the "green" gauge the majority of time) . My guess is that the tank was actually 2-2.5 gallons shy of actually being filled up completely when I received it. The prior customer probably filled it up to the starting low side point of the "F" gauge and hence it read 7/8 of a tank rather quickly after I departed the store premises.
