The person working at this location told me not to check in through the app and refused to give me access to the vehicle unless I showed her my ID and completed the process through her. I had selected a contactless pick up. She made the process very difficult, it took over 30 minutes for pick up and for drop off and I had to complete all steps twice because she refused to let me complete everything through the app. This resulted in me being late to pick up an item I was scheduled to pick up. The whole experience became complicated and unpleasant, I would not rent from this location again.

Jonathan RI had reserved a 15-foot van online for August 1st, with a morning pickup time. I received a reservation number and I provided my credit card details at the time of booking. However, when I called to confirm the reservation a day before the scheduled move, I was informed that there was no reservation under my name. As a result, I was forced to make a new reservation, which was only available for an evening pickup at a far-off location. When I arrived at the new pickup location, I had to wait over 2 hours and still did not receive the 15-foot truck that I originally booked. I have to take 20 foot truck, due to tile constraints, which was costly This caused major delays and disruption to my moving schedule, and I had to make alternative arrangements at my own expense. Instead of finishing with my moving schedule during day time, I was able to finish with my moving schedule in by night. This situation clearly violates U-Haul’s policy. I request the company for reimbursements . I just wonder that whats the difference between online booking and standing in a long queue…
