I origianlly had booked my uhaul truck pickup at a different location within walking distance to my hotel. The day before I got a phone call my truck would be at a different location 25 minutes away. I had to take a $40 uber to pick up the truck. The truck pick up was in a neighborhood that was very deserted and as a single woman doing pick up, I did not feel safe standing out there alone trying to find the key. The lock box was very hard to work because the numbers were rubbed off and I was standing in the rain making it even more difficult to operate. Then I got in the truck, only to discover it only had a quarter tank of gas. Now I'm running late already because of the long pickup drive and I still needed to get gas.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe employee was clearly high, and half way through the interaction she had food delivered to her. The vehicle was dirty, with nails and broken glass in the back, and an oil spill in the cabin. We had no other choice but to accept it because we were on a tight schedule but in the future I would not use U-Haul again if they allow this.
