Check in person was 30 minutes late which delayed our moving time.

We waited 30 minutes for them to arrive to open the office. They did not offer any credit for us. I had uploaded everything already to my profile on the U-Haul. The person working there for my license and my son’s license when I had already put everything up on the portal
Brenda DThe keys were on the opposite side of the building, so you have to walk quite a distance to get the keys and then drop them off. Placing them closer would be nice. The truck needed repair. The air vents were not not working, so there was no air conditioning. I was thankful it was a mild temperature outside, but when your moving, is always nice to have cool air in your vehicle. The steering wheel could not be adjusted. The tab was broken off, so it could not be tilted. Made it a bit uncomfortable as the steering wheel was on an awkward position. Lastly, I'm not sure what was going on, but I struggled to get the rental. The app was not working like it usually does. It took me 45 minutes to get the truck. It was such a waste of time. No one was available on site.
CHRISTINA TVery very poor customer service. The person we picked up the tow dolly from had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I honestly am not sure how to begin. We came to pick up a tow dolly. When we showed up, no one was there. We waited and ended up calling U-Haul. We finally walked around the building and found the lady out in the back with her husband and their friend. We said we were here to pick up a tow dolly, her response ‘we don’t do tow dolly’s here’ (there was one on the ground right next to her). We point it out and she said, ‘Oh yeah, well we do them but this one is reserved.’ ‘Yes, we know,’ we respond, ‘we reserved it. We have the reservation number right here.’ She does not believe us. She takes us into the office and looks up the reservation. ‘See, I can’t let you take it, it’s reserved for a Miss ____’. I respond, ‘That’s me, I have my license with me. Check the reservation number, look it’s the same as mine.’ She says, and I kid you not, ‘that’s so weird that they gave two people the same number.’ I’ll have to call them. We finally convince her it is me, and then she doesn’t know how the system works. We walk her through the prompts ourselves, she calls U-Haul two more times for help because she doesn’t believe us, when the screen is telling her things as simple as, click the Next button. She then goes to take our payment. I give her our payment information. It goes through. The computer says, ‘___ Paid, 00.00 due.’ We can see that our bank has charged us. She refuses to believe this. Asks to charge it again, we say no. She says ‘If you can’t pay, I can’t let you take the tow dolly.’ We try to convince her we just barely paid. She calls U-Haul again, and is saying things like ‘Their payment isn’t working, they won’t use another card, I can’t figure out the computer system’ (literally all she had to do was click next at this point). We ask her to have them check on their end if the payment went through. They do, and of course it did. She is very confused. I have to ask them to give her verbal confirmation to let us take the tow dolly. We finally go back there, and her husbands friend is parked in front of the entrance so we cannot bring the moving truck around to attach it. He says he will leave in a few minutes. In a few minutes, we insist he leave. They say we can try to get around him (it is a moving truck, and there is a fence, he is parked in the entrance). We say we can’t, they act confused. We get frustrated and say we aren’t wanting to wait anymore, and he needs to move because we need the tow dolly. He leaves, we attach it and drive away about an hour and a half after we arrive. I am honestly wondering if there were some kind of drugs involved or something going on, because it was just not an everyday experience. So much confusion for just trying to pick up a tow dolly. I would Not recommend this location to a friend.
jessica lThe young lady had no idea what she was doing. We literally had to call into U-Haul for me to get my reservation. Then they put me in a truck that looked like it had been through World War III X mark stickers all over it because of a claim from another person who used the truck drove it here to Nevada brake lights coming on cruise control would turn on and off. It was horrible. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a U-Haul.
