Owner was no where to be found. The man at the fitness place had to perform the task of renting the truck to me. The owner never showed up and didn’t answer any of my 6 phone calls. All of their instructions on their sign were useless because the owner failed at his responsibilities.

I paid what it it quoted me to reserve it which was $70. Then when I got there all the sudden it was $150 to take the truck. I could not drop at a closer location than picked up at and when I didn drop it off it charged me another time of over $230. I feel scammed. It made you think it was $70 to rent it and then when you finally pick it up its like nope pay more or dont move today. Then even more when ypu drop it off. Super shady business and I wish I had used a real Uhaul location but I didnt know it would be done in such a scammed way at another location. I've used uhaul and never had this type of thing happen.
Brenda MMy rental pickup location was changed to a location further away the day prior. Upon arriving at 10 am as scheduled, nobody was there who could help me. Finally, someone from the fitness center figured it out. I was delayed 45 mins.
Brandon TFirst, you moved my pick-up location from one I requested to one selected by you - it was several miles out of the way. Second, I was not told it was a remote location where I'd have to check in on the app. I could have done much of that in advance if I'd known. I had to do the check-in online and get on the phone with a Uhaul rep all while sitting in a parking lot by myself. The guy at the Fit Stop, a crossfit gym, was zero help. He just pointed me to the lockbox, which as 150 yards away. Third, the truck was not ready. The back end of the truck was dirty and there were NO moving covers (which I had ordered and which I DID pay for). Fourth, you moved my dropoff location an hour before I was taking it back to one that was twice as far away. Fifth, once again it was a remote drop location because I was five minutes after they closed so I had to do all the work, taking pics and mileage. And then at 8am the next morning the guy at that place calls me looking for the moving covers that YOU NEVER GAVE ME. What at horrible customer experience. You know what you don't need when you're moving? More headaches. And all you did was give me more headaches.
