The location doesn’t open till 10 o’clock in the morning and closes about 4 to 4:30 in the afternoon making pick up and delivery problematic.

The tow truck drivers told me the office was closed when it wasn’t and they were rude. The manager was alright
Timmy FGirl did not do a visual check with me. The back was full of mulch and dirty. Claimed “she did not know the actual mileage so she would give me ten extra miles” and when I returned the truck in Lompoc, it was actually 100 miles off. Terrible service, was wearing pajamas, truck was two blocks away from the tow garage. Would not recommend allowing them to deal any longer.
EDWIN RNo improvement needed— Frank was great.
Charles WTERRIBLE pick-up situation and I will never pick up from this location ever again. I arrived at my scheduled pick up time at 1:30pm. I waited for over 1/2 hour without anyone working the front desk (there was a bell on the counter and I rang that several times). There were other employees that were present, assumably tow truck drivers, and they attempted to contact whoever was supposed to be working the front desk several times to no avail. I tried calling the business phone number and received a message that the voice mail was full. After waiting there for over 1/2 an hour and also while having moving men who I had hired sitting at my house who were being paid hourly, I called the 1-800 number for UHaul several times. They really couldn't help me out. I actually ended up walking past the business employees and taking the UHaul keys off the front desk (they were just sitting there). My rental was already paid in full and checked in online. I told customer service at the 1-800 number that I was doing this and they confirmed that the number on the keys matched my rental. The tow employees were really not happy that I was doing this and said I was not authorized to go in the office. But, I had no choice. I then walked up and down the street for at least 15 mins. to find the rental. I finally found it parked on a side street. All this time, I had moving people waiting at my house for me for over 1/2 hour. That is $ that I have lost. This rental actually cost me money that I didn't have to incur. I have rented from UHaul on many occasions and I would say this was the worse pick up scenario for me. Drop off was easy though (the online app system makes it easy and you put the keys in the mailbox at the business).
