The springs are shot on the trailer. Shouldn't U-Haul inspect its equipment? Come on...

The "system was down," I was told, so understandably things were moving slowly. But the guy who helped me failed to communicate so many basic things, including: where was I supposed to take the truck for drop off? (I had to ask.) Where were the dollies and moving blankets I paid for? (He sent me off before I noticed) Which truck was I getting in? (It wasn't clear. He just pointed in the general direction. Where are the keys? So many basic details just absolutely not communicated at all. He also left me alone for several minutes multiple times after telling me confusing things. Overall very poor experience and made me really bitter on U-Haul, which I've had a pretty good experience with up to now.
Noam FWe had opted for no additional insurance and when we went to pick it up, they had changed that and added insurance without our permission. That felt pretty dishonest and frustrating. Otherwise, the experience was OK.
CHRISTOPHER SDifficult drop off due to no place to leave the trailer, high traffic area. Staff very helpful but they need a dedicated area for trailers and trucks
ARTHUR SThe staff office was very helpful. The drop off location was not obvious. They said just leave it on the street in front. The staff didn't help me disconnect the trailer from the car. Good thing this was a smaller trailer, I would not have been able to disconnect a larger trailer.
