This was one of the worst experiences I had to go through on my whole life! The Day before pickup I called the location to ask for a second utility dolly (my order included one utility dolly and one furniture dolly) they told me that I won't be getting any dollies at all! and that there is a shortage and they can't bring them from the US bla bla bla. I replied that I am moving to a new apartment and I can't do that without the dollies, and the truck will be useless without them. The answer is that I can cancel the truck booking! So I told them I am moving out of my apartment to a new one and I have the elevators booked at both locations and the move has to be done on that day and the is no way I can reschedule and they are giving me a short notice where it's impossible to find alternatives. I called U-HAUL to try to find an alternative location that has the dollies but they were of no help. Long story short, after hours of stress and frustration, they offered me appliance dollies and a very old and useless furniture dolly (not a U-Haul one)! This made my move so much harder as their furniture dolly can't be pushed easily so we had to carry most of the furniture! Also the utility dollies are too heavy to be used frequently for boxes so we had to carry that extra weight with each trip we had to do between the elevators and the truck so the moving was sooo much harder it should and it took much more time than it should! And above all that we were not able to move all our stuff to the truck as the elevator can only be booked for 3 hours and the dollies they gave us made the move very slow and very much harder than it should. So 1st they did not provide the equipment I had booked weeks ago, 2nd I learned that fact at the last moment where it was impossible to find an alternative solution, 3rd I called U-HAUL they did not help, all they did was to give me the phone number of that location! 4th I had to pay for dollies that are not useful for our move, 5th those dollies made the move way much harder and longer and we couldn't move everything on time and we had to endure the heavy weight of those appliance dollies. It was a very very very very bad experience that we had to go through.Mohamad E.

Location said, we can come and pickup any time as it's a mobile pickup. When arrived, the van was there but contract was cancelled. Total of 3.5 miserable hours spent on the phone with U-HAUL call centre creating a new contract to pickup instantly. Wait time on the phone was quite high but people there was quite helpful.Anup M.
I paid 20 dollars extra for pads and utility dolly, but they were not provided with the truck, and since I was in a hurry and it was a holiday (Jan 1st), I could not find anyone to help me with this issue. I even tried the live chat while picking up the truck, but no one responded. I would like a refund at least, let alone the the frustration and disappointment that I went through!Siavash P.

Every time I use U-Haul, your lax booking system ends up messing up my timing and what's available. I booked a 5x8 trailer at one location, was given a 4x8 in a location across town. This is messed up. The local person (Jimmy Ding) was great and helpful. But U-Haul as a business demonstrates a flagrant disrespect for customers' time.Reza R.

Everything about our rental experience was very good. The truck was well maintained and easy to drive. Checking in and out were easy. The billing was quick and accurate. There is only one problem. We had difficulty finding Trusty Car Rental. As we drove south on Pharmacy we couldn't see the office. The colours are all faded and hard to spot. On the way back we pulled into the little strip mall and then we found it. Maybe better signage? Otherwise we were very happy.Shelley C.

I requested for a furniture dolly when I made the reservation. I spoke with the U-Haul customer service agent on the phone twice prior to picking up my truck. The agent did not inform me they were not able to provide the furniture dolly for my reservation. There was clearly a lack of communication between staff, as well as staff and customer. I would appreciate if the location can provide better communication and service to other customers.Ka Ka T.
