I extended contract so as not to have you waiting if we were late. In fact, I was 2 days early. Told no price reduction on 1 way fare by return location. Should have been told that when I extended. I would have just paid extra if I had needed it. Feel cheated.

I would have fared better economically if I'd simply rented a car. I'll ask if I ever have to move again, instead of assuming it's $19.95/day. My budget is shattered now -- first the eviction, now this. I can't win for losing and I can't even go back to work to correct the hole. No bueno. AND the van needs a wash, especially the windows.. UGH!!!!

The truck brakes were bad and the check engine light was on. A message kept popping up on the dash and i was concerned the van would brake down. I could not wait to be done with that vehicle.

Not this locations fault. Uhaul customer service is what this is about. I was contacted at 8 PM the night prior to picking up my 6x12 trailer, and told they didn't have any available and I'd be getting a 5x8. Reservation had been made 4 days prior. They also changed the pick up location an additional 20 minutes more distance from my house. Called back and asked to change pick up locations closer and told me “well most of the locations are closed right now because it's so late.†I know right, but they just called me 45 minutes prior (was on hold that long) telling me they changed trailer size and pick up location. Inconvenient to try and figure out how to move everything I had planned for a bigger trailer into a smaller one in such a short notice. The drop off wasn't any better...

Everything was done right, the manager was friendly and efficient, explaining the details of the truck and even pointing us to the best gas station. It would have been better if the truck had a full fuel tank; just fill it up before returning. The calculation for the milage fell a little short, this seems to be a common occurrence.
