They hadn't a clue and also told me to move the vehicle to a different location(on the opposite side of the building) to the text plus I then received multiple texts the next day saying it was going to get towed i then had to talk to a rep which then would relay a msg to the area manager... which took a very long grueling morning to finally receive a confirmation... which I was then charged an extra $40 when I knew I filled the tank to where I got it at... NOT IMPRESSED which I hope to never experience again!!

Just tell ahead of time that tickets will not be charged to customers ahead of walking out to get vehicle would take the stress off the customer

Scott LThis was an absolute disaster. There was no information as to where to park the van. The location's hours were marked at opening at 10am. Their voicemail to the phone number provided by U-Haul also stated a 10am opening. At 10:30am there was still nobody there. When I called U-Haul, and got disconnected trying to reach a manager, and had to call back, spending 30+ minutes on the phone, I was eventually told to leave the key in the slot. This despite me telling her the slot consisted of a mail slot metallic opening, which had cavity a few inches deep behind the opening. The key had nowhere to go in this slot. ANYBODY could lift the mail slot door and access the key. There were un-housed people around, so didn't think it was wise to just leave the key in that slot, but as I was advised by the supervisor to do so, and I was there 30 minutes after the location's supposed opening, I did so. Also, there were rats scurrying behind the building. Why the U-Haul app suggested I should drop off the van at 7am at this location, when their own information states that they only open at 10am is beyond me. My overall experience with this drop-off was atrocious, and the lack of support, service and overall customer care was deplorable.
Alain DOur main concern that's not related to locations is the fact that we were told we'd get 12 miles to the gallon of gas but we got 17 miles which means we put in a lot of extra gas. We were given a $20 (Canadian) credit but put in a lot more than that amount. Otherwise, the truck rental process was good.
