The uhaul we were loaned needed major work. The muffler seemed to be missing a bolt or two. Exhaust filled the cab. I had to sweep prior to placing my things in there. Upon returning the uhaul the store attendant by the name of bryson appeared to be high.(location is a smoke/ vape shop) He wasn't knowledgeable about the process. Overall not the best experience.

To start off and Note, the people at the location of pickup were great and doing their jobs and best to help. However, this past experience with Uhaul and the Corporate end of the company have ROYALLY given me MORE than enough reasons to NO longer use their business and or equipment in the future. I believe it would've been better to have just spent the extra money in the end and rented the right sized truck, a 26' from Penske or Ryder. Which I still couldn't obtain from Uhaul, even though I had already reserved the 26' box truck from the location that was highlighted "Equipment Available" near my apartment that I was moving FROM and then found out ( only from calling in advance to figure out pick up plans ) that the location didn't rent out trucks that big, and my reservation had been re-routed electronically to a destination 40 minutes away from the apartments in the opposite direction of the actual moving destination. And turned out to be over an hour and 20 minutes from where I would be moving to. After calling corporate and being rudely handled by a customer service representative, that was unwilling to even attempt to help find a closer location or better solution, I had to find one myself by going to a known location in between my apartments and my moving destination and spoke to a franchisee owner to get atleast a 20' truck reserved (on 5/27/22) with the agreement for pick up at a set time of 1 pm on Sunday 5/29/22, yet only on the day of pick-up ( 5/29/22 ) at 12:15pm I received an email stating pick-up reservation canceled due to not picking up the truck at 11am, when my original and only agreement was set for 1pm after truck would be dropped off from a previous move from the night before and inspection would be complete by 12pm on Sunday ( 5/29/22 ). I then proceeded to call Corporate once again to get a rescheduling consultant that could only tell me that it had to be my own mess up on agreement and that only option available to me would be to go once again, another destination 45 minutes completely the opposite direction of my whole move to get a 20' truck because the one I had literally reserved with a handshaken agreement had been shortly canceled. After getting irritated, I decided to drive to the location that was reserved for ( 5/29/22 ) and on the way their, got a phone call to fix the reservation problems and the lady was quick to recheck the truck and location to find it still available and continued my reservation for the truck and said everything would be good to go. I got to location and re-payed for truck only to turn be informed after paying that they could not release the truck ( or any rentals at all ) out to me due to a "flag" that popped up with my name/ information. I called Corparte once more to find they blocked me from renting any equipment for a late return on a date that I explained calmly and kindly that I never knew of, nor had any record of ever renting from Uhaul or anyone. They quickly removed the flag and lifted "ban" and told me to provide payment yet again to finish pick-up. I finally got the 20' truck and before leaving with truck, noticed a 26' sitting parked outside after being checked in " the night before " and asked clerk about the 26'. They mentioned someone had put reservation on it, so I left it at that. Then, at or around 10pm Sunday night ( 5/29/22 ) I bring the 20' back to pick-up/ drop-off location and finish drop off instructions on phone and noticed the same 26' in same spot and ask clerk about it only to find, no one reserved it the whole time I could've used it to complete my move. After finishing taking picture proof of previous damage to truck and mileage and gas tank mark before and after move. Just incase Uhaul tries to claim anything wrong with or cleanliness of truck, I have photo proof of how they gave me the truck and what condition it was in and how much gas they left for me to get to a gas station to fill it up before starting my move at all. In short, this experience has given me plenty of more reasons why I don't trust, nor why I never did any business with Uhaul in the past.
Brandon W.This review has nothing to do with White Eagle Smoke but with U-Haul in general... We were supposed to pick up a truck at 9:30 am on Saturday morning in Rockmart at the U-Haul dealer. They called us as we were on our way to pick it up and told us that we would not be able to get a truck until 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. This was after the reservation had been made and the truck had been paid for in full. We had movers that were supposed to be at our house at 10:00 a.m. that morning to fill our truck (also hired through U-Haul). So I had to call them and postpone them coming. We checked every U-Haul dealer in town and no one else had a 26 foot truck available that day. Every place we called seemed like no one knew what the other person was doing. They were all giving us a different stories, different times for pickup, and different locations throughout the day as to where we would be getting a truck. Finally after still not having a truck by 1:00 p.m. my movers informed me that they could not be at my house until Sunday at noon because they overbooked their jobs (even though they had been paid in full for 7 hours of labor). I had several family members that had come in from out of state to help with the move. This not only inconvenienced us but inconvenience them as well as they had to take another day off of work without pay. Finally at 2:50 that afternoon we got a call that we could pick up our truck at 3:45, of course from a different location further away. We ended up getting the truck back to our house around 3:40 where my husband and our guest from out of state had to begin loading the U-Haul truck ( we were running out of time and had no movers that day). So of course by the time the movers got to my house on Sunday at 1pm, not noon as promised, They only had a couple of hours to get a four bedroom home loaded, driven 45 minutes away, and unloaded again. Of course that did not happen and we had to pay for extra time on our u-haul. I will never ever rent from or recommend U-Haul to anybody ever again. This was the worst moving experience that I have ever had. I spent almost $1,300 between their truck and hiring their movers. This was the worst experience I've ever had moving and I'm 58 years old so I've moved many times. I really can't say enough bad things about this whole disaster of a move. I will forever only say negative things about U-Haul and their employees. By the way the movers only worked about 4 and 1/2 hours and I paid for them to work seven. I give all of them zero stars.
Robert S.The location was fine. Uhaul is terrible at keeping reservations. 3 trics in 2 weeks and not 1 time was the reservation correct. First the location couldn't find the keys. The next time the didn't have any equipment I reserved it blankets/dollies. The last time the truck wasn't even there. No more uhaul for me. I'll pay a little extra and go with ryder/enterprise.
Donald C.Everything worked out perfectly! The equipment was is great shape and the people at White Eagle were very helpful and polite. I saved over $1000 by using Uhaul!
