We wanted to pick up the truck before the location opened. That was an option offered on the website and as well as when I spoke to a U-Haul customer service team member on the phone. The location put the wrong lock on the truck, so the password they provided to U-Haul did not work. We ended needing to wait until the location opened, losing time that could have been spent moving. Very disappointing. Will likely rent with Penske next time.

escott bWe rented a 5x8 trailer to bring a mattress to our son, 4.5hrs away. We picked it up on a Thursday and loaded it that day. That night it rained. Friday when we got to our destination, we unloaded the mattress and found the trailer leaked and the mattress got wet.

EDDY JThe truck was backed into a pile of ice making the back door where the keys were located hard to get to. Making the situation worse was the back door was frozen shut. It took me five minutes of pulling and slamming myself against the door to open it while slipping on the ice.
