The property is currently undergoing renovation on the front entryway and there were steel construction materials in front of the key pick up box, making it a safety hazard. I had to return my truck at night and there were no lights on at the property. Also, my original reservation was for a different location, and it was changed without notice or approval. I only got two cryptic text messages from U-Haul that only showed a response URL, but no message. I never got a phone call to confirm my reservation as I was told I would. This made the reservation show two different locations, one for the rental source and the other for the location of the truck. Thankfully, I went to the right location and U-Haul customer service was able to correct the error.
Michael BLighting in the lot would be helpful. I wasn’t able to locate a drop box for the keys. I called the truck share line to let them know this and that I placed the keys inside the back of the truck like I had found them at pick up. I later received a call the next day from the person that works at the drop off location in Whitehouse asking me for the code to open the lock to get keys. Since the trip was complete I didn’t have a way to access that code again. After everything that has gone wrong this was very upsetting only mounting more stress once the rental was complete. I will never rely on U-Haul again
