I made a reservation for 12 hours at a place several blocks from me. I never received any communication from U-Haul that the price was changing the time was changing and the place for rental was changing. In fact I received an email confirming it would be at the place near me. Morning of with movers on the way I go to pick up the trailer. That U-Haul dealer has no idea what I'm talking about. He looks it up in his system for me and says oh that's the other side of town. It would've been nice for U-Haul to tell me that I was going to have to go to the other side of town and not pay for my movers to sit around doing nothing while I'm running around looking for the trailer. Other side of town they have the trailer but now the reservation is for 24 hours and it's more money than what I had been quoted.. The back door of the trailer is iced shut and the lip of the trailer is slick with ice so getting in and out of the trailer is dangerous and of course somebody fell and hurt themselves because the trailer is covered with ice. I get that it's Minnesota but you could've thrown some salt on it or something. The whole experience was disgusting. Making it worse the person who did have the company with the trailers versus the one that was a known friendly entity was a jerk. Rather than his dealing with the issue of the quote is wrong and saying yeah sorry about that on behalf of U-Haul that I'm running all over town he kept interrupting and said call the 800 number call the 800 number jerk I don't have time I have movers waiting give me the damn trailer so I can get to the movers not make it a 20 minute process whenever ready spent 30 minutes running around town. My last two U-Haul experiences have sucked in a major way and now you're doing all these hidden fees and location swaps without telling people it's garbage in U-Haul has become garbage

Although the back of the truck was not super clean, everything was in excellent working order. The only issue I have is how loud the inside cabin is when traveling. I've read somewhere that noise dampening panels are installed in most vehicles, but it doesn't appear to be the case with rental trucks.
