The pick up the truck experience was terrible. Three different cell phones and talking to a Uhaul rep before we were able to access the key to get the truck. Thee Uhaul rep acknowledged our troubles and said she would give us a 20% discount voucher to use on this rental but she never sent the voucher. Very difficult and troubling experience. I will never again use Uhaul for a truck rental.

I believe there should be a jack installed on the 6x12 trailers. At my last return, it was after business hours and I had to lift the trailer off my hitch alone. First thing wrong with that, is lifting that kind of weight shouldn’t be left for the customer to do, secondly, once the trailer is released from the hitch, it wants to roll, making it a safety hazard. There are no wheel chocks provided, so the trailer could roll into the back of the customers vehicle. A simple crank jack installed would alleviate the issue as it would provide the stability needed. I have rented this same trailer from other places and have always had a jack on them.
