The drop off location I was told to go to NO LONGER did uhauls!!!!! Get all information RIGHT b4 telling people where to go to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reserved a 10' truck at least a month prior to my needed date. I made a confirmation call to the 800 number and was assured everything would be good to go. On Sunday May 14, I received a call from Stephanie, confirming I was still on for the next day. She also told me that they did not have the truck I reserved, but would be furnishing a 20' truck at the same rate, which I accepted. I show up on the 15th at 7:45 am 15 minutes prior to them opening. I entered the store at 8:00 and was told that my reservation was switched to a different location in Lima Ohio. A40 minute drive each way. I told Alex that I was confirmed by Stephanie the day before. I made them contact Stephanie and she confirmed the change in vehicle's. But they were not able to give me the rate I was quoted but would be able to split the difference with me. Said it was because of U-Haul system. I had to have the truck to move my daughter home from school. It just sounds like the old bait and switch. I am going to be out of town for the next week. At that point I will be contacting U-Haul corporate to get restitution on this situation. Additionally, the vehicle was just a mess. I had to stop and clean the windshield as it was just caked with dead bugs.

Some of my reservation information was not coming up correctly. The person working the checkout, Trevor, was extremely helpful and took the time to ensure my contract was as agreed.

I rented a 12' trailer to move a family member. Upon arriving at the pickup destination some 75 miles away I was informed that the hitch ball I had was too big. I was then told that I would need to puchase a smaller size to fit the trailer. I own a company and use a trailer daily. I have at least six other hitch assemblies available to me. At no time was I advised by the uhaul rep that I needed a different hitch despite my asking. Had he given me the correct information I could have easily brought a different hitch ball. I feel I can't recommendted!

I made reservation online then I was charged double. I called the number on the receipt and I was told that a uhaul customer service rep would call me to staighten this out. I have not received a call. Marlon Harp
