To whom it may concern, I was extremely pleased with my whole experience renting a cargo van from Uhaul. The staff was all extremely pleasant and professional. The van was in immaculate condition. When I encountered an issue due to weather delay, the scheduling staff was polite and professional. Everything about the whole experience was well executed!

I keep using this location because of its proximity to my home. However, each time I've used it, there has been something that was less than acceptable. Today, my self-serve pick-up was not ready. When I asked why, I was told, "The paperwork had not been completed." That statement could be interpreted in a couple of ways, and I wanted to make sure they weren't blaming me. I asked for clarification and the rep said that they had not completed the paperwork the night before. I asked why not and he said, "I don't know, I wasn't here." I had also called the number on the reservation and spoke with a man that said he couldn't do anything and that I just needed to wait. He said he was 40 miles away and could only call them. All-in-all: Van - Excellent!!! Service - below average.

The best service ever in Albuquerque, However the drop off, was the worst, Valantine NE, not a place for non-white people, at least not at the place where I dropped off. Never again!!!!!!!!!

The only parking is off to the side and is not obvious when you first turn into the business. I was confused at first where to park until I looked to the side and there was a spot open. The only other spots are going around to the back of the building. When we walked in the man behind the counter did not greet us or really acknowledge us standing at the desk. He was busy writing something down and did not speak until he was finished and when he did speak it was not good customer service. He was actually working on the review of our rental, but he could have said something like, "I will be with you in just a moment" or something. When we returned the vehicle there was no one in the office for a couple of minutes and a guy came in a while after and did not have good customer service skills either. The attic of the trailer was dirty when we got it and the truck was in bad need of a wheel alignment and was not easy to drive.

I reserved a 20ft truck well in advance for a one way move from Dixon, NM to Waynesboro, VA. When we arrived on the 24th of July I was told they did not have the 20ft truck that I reserved and that they were putting me in a 26ft truck at no extra charge. I ask if I could down size to a 15ft truck. I was told there were none in the area so I had no other option except to accept the 26ft. This truck while driving it had a severe miss in the engine in turn caused me to continuously put fuel in it. It would make loud spit and sputtering sounds when driving it. If you turned the AC past 3 it would completely shut off. I was very dissatisfied with this experience. I would think with doing a one way long distance move cross country that u haul would have inspected this truck fully before sending it out again, which from my experience driving in this truck it was not fully inspected if at all. This is my first time using U Haul and will not be using them again.

I had reserve a pick up truck a whole week in advance and when I got there to get it they told me that they had none. I made a full reservation, I am NOT impressed with the CS I received either. They acted like It was my fault and it was clearly U-Haul's I really believe that it is really hard to find really good 'service in today's business world. Business seems to hire incompetent people.

When I went to return the uhaul. The uhaul workers told me "the pick up truck you are returning was reported stolen". Afterwards the employee disappeared not answering any questions I had. After he returns...he said its the wrong truck and laughs it off.

I was supposed to use the self pickup process on my phone to pick up the truck at 8am. When I clicked start, a message said that equipment wasn't assigned and to call Tom Neil 24/7. I left several messages for Tom but never received a call back. I called Uhaul's customer service and was told to try again in 10 minutes. It didn't work 10 minutes later so I waited until the location opened at 9am. There are several problems in what I just described and I'll leave it to you to figure them out. In addition, I was told the truck had a full tank of gas and to return it full. I should have checked before leaving with the truck but when I stopped to fill it up before returning, I realized it was at half a tank. I was so eager to return the truck and minimize ANY contact with Uhaul that I filled it up and returned it. I was never once offered any kind of reimbursement for the horrible service.

Website booking and registration had problems, and need two people in the office, had to wait quite a while for an older lady & clerk to finish deciding how many moving boxes needed to pull from shelves and purchase before I could check in at desk for my 3 min. checkout.

When I arrived at this location it was understaffed, with three customers ahead of waiting about 15 mintutes before being helped. The attentdent on hand did a very good job at meeting the other customers needs but it just took time going through paper working and briefing them on rentals. When I was helped by the store associate I found out my reservation was made under the wrong name. I had called the day before and the call center had taken my reservation but did not bother to verify my last name but instead put it under "doe". The call center had also failed to reserve my rental under the right time and date. The store associate did his best in a timely manner to correct the issue by finding a similar trailer I needed for the correct time and date. The only problem I had with the trailer at the time of service was that due to it not being originally reserved for me it did not have a jack attached to raise and lower the trailer. This was only a problem when I had to unhook the trailer for the night and leave the trailer in a secure location before using it the next day. I used a jack I had on hand in my truck to unhook and reattach the trailer as needed. I did not have any other mechanical problems with this rental. I returned this rental and was well recieved by the same store associate the next day. I have rented many time from this location and I am still a happy patron of U-haul services.

I think the dolly and moving blankets should be removed from the truck and only included if customer wants then when asked before taking possession of truck. It takes up valuable space in the truck.

First off my reservation was changed and then when I got charged for the truck the next day I got charged for apparently going 50 miles! I only moved 2.5 miles from where I was living!! I also paid $30 dollars to fill up the truck when it was almost full... I will never use uhaul again.. I want my money back! This experience was complete bullshit!
